By a staff reporter SHARJAH ـــ The Sharjah Department of Civil Aviation (DCA) and the Sharjah Airport Authority have taken measures to ensure that the airport is well
equipped
to meet the increase in passenger movement during the Haj pilgrimage.
Mubarak Fahad, Director, Ground Services, Sharjah Airport Authority, said: "Our aim is to make the process easy for all Haj pilgrims."
Dr. Ghanem Al Hajri, Director General, DCA and Sharjah Airport Authority, added, "The |
airport has provided a rest area for all pilgrims. Refreshments are also being offered. A religious teacher from the Islamic Department is also available to answer questions regarding Haj."
The airlines that have increased the frequency of their flights include the Royal Brunei Airways, which is operating 12 flights to Jeddah (technical stops), Indian Airlines, operating 36 flights (technical stops), and Saudi Arabian Airlines, operating a direct flight. |
