SAA plans course to upgrade skills

THE Sharjah Airport Authority (SAA) will conduct a number of courses during the year to enhance the skills of its employees so as to serve customers better. A booklet outlining the courses will be distributed to the staff in the coming days.

Most of the courses will be conducted by SAA while the others will be held in coordination with the Dubai Administrative Development Institute and Sharjah Al Faris for Languages Institute.

"Applying quality in all the services we provide to our customers can be best achieved through equipping our staff at

the Sharjah Airport," said Ali Salem Al Midfa, director administration and commercial at SAA.

He said that the challenging field of aviation requires competent employees whose skills can be upgraded through continous support from the airport authorities. "The training section will assist employees in opting for the right courses which is relevant to their respective jobs," said Dhiyab Mohammed, head of the training section at SAA. The officials will also gather feedback from the employees and superiors, which will be used to enhance their capabilities.
