Assuring the pilgrims hassle-free procedures, the airport has made arrangements with all government departments, especially on matters pertaining to travel. In terms of facility, a designated resting area, offered with refreshments, is made available for the Haj pilgrims while waiting for their flights. The special lounge is also equipped with AV facility showing movies in details on how to pursue the Haj-offering. The airport also provides wheelchairs and other medical services if required, to assist the elderly citizens. In addition, a unique effort is put in place by way of co-ordinating with the Islamic affairs department to offer an Islamic guide who can teach the pilgrims more about the Haj and also any other associated details, inside the lounge. The department also offers brochures and pamphlets in addition to the Holy Quran in different languages. A special counter in check-in area is set-up to answer queries from Haj organisers and to speed-up Haj pilgrims' documentation. Various areas in the airport terminal is well put-up with sinages and posters to guide the pilgrims in the right direction.
