Sharjah Airport International Free Zone established. |

Expansion of holding lounges, Phase II:
Number of lounges increased to eight and bringing the holding capacity of the lounges to 3,432 passengers. Additional toilets in the pier for passengers, mosque for passengers, new elevators in the holding lounges and a panoramic lift in the main dome for wheel chair passengers, all constructed in a comprehensive refurbishment & development plan. |
