| Dr Ghanem
Al Hajri, Director-General of Sharjah Department of Civil Aviation and Sharjah Airport Authority, received appreciation for his
dedicated efforts to the cause of the airports in Africa and around the world.
Being an ACI Chairman from 2000 to 2003, Dr Ghanem's leadership and outstanding service helped
to promote and enhance the levels of services at airports.

presented the certificate to Dr Ghanem during the 14th Africa-Asia assembly held in Cairo from
November 27 to December 2 where Dr Ghanem delivered a speech on 'Winning commercial strategies
in a liberalising environment'.
Dr Ghanem had earlier received an award in October this year during the ACI General Assembly-World
Conference and Exhibition in Lisbon for his outstanding contribution to the airport world.
